The problem of pregnancy and genital herpes is fraught with serious conditions for a baby; with a natural remedy it is possible to prevent the development of condyloma, warts and herpes even in pregnant women.
The chances of transmission are highest when a woman acquires genital herpes in the third trimester. Transmission rates are lowest for women who acquire HSV before becoming pregnant -- a study (Randolph, JAMA, 1993) placing the risk at about 0.04% for such women who have no signs or symptoms of an outbreak at delivery.
