Genital Herpes Cold Sore
A genital herpes cold sore virus is not the same virus family as a penile wart or verruca wart virus.
An outbreak begins with one or several small blisters. The blisters rupture and scabs develop signaling outbreak completion. Simplex 1(HSV1) commonly infects the mouth (fever blister) and Simplex 2 (HSV2) generally infects the reproductive tract. This can be misleading because direct oral to genital organ contact can transmit either to the opposite sites. And, HSV lesions are very definitive and contagious.
