Herpes Genitalis
There are two strains of herpes, genitalis and oral, and are stds along with the HPV genital wart viruses that are diagnosable with a colposcopy.
Unfortunately there are no vaccines against the virus and there are no treatments that can protect you from disease as well as cure you for good. To avoid catching the virus it is advised not to have multiple partners and usually ask your sex partner(s) if he or she has the virus or other STDs.
