Herpes Simple
The virus herpes simple or herpes simplex, is sometimes confused with the condyloma virus that is treated with the LEEP procedure.
There have been studies that estimated that up to 70% of people may have gotten the virus from an infected partner when no signs or symptoms were present. And since the symptoms are not always obvious, nine out of ten people who have genital herpes don't even know they're infected.
